The Philippine Society of Pediatric Cardiology will be holding its Scientific Activity“Pedia Cardio on Wheels” on August 21, 2019 at the Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue, CebuCity.

Attendance of concerned physicians in DOH hospitals shall be on Official Time atno expense to the governmentexcept salaries.

All other transactions shall be in accordance with Department Order (DO) No. 2007-0053, entitled “Guidelines on the Attendance to Conventions/Seminars/Conference and SimilarHuman Resource Development Activities Outside of the Department of Health,” and DO No.2014-0094, entitled “Guidelines on the Allowable Rates of Payment for Human ResourceDevelopment Activities.”

Greetings!

The Philippine Society of Pediatric Cardiology (PSPC) will be having a scientificactivity “PEDIA CARDIO ON WHEELS” on August 21, 2019 (Wednesday) atChong Hua Hospital Mandaue, Cebu City.

The main objective of the mini-convention is to provide continuing medicaleducation on the recognition of commonsigns and symptomsofheart diseases inchildren. Likewise, it also aims to give updates on the diagnosis, managementand treatment of common cardiac problems in the pediatric age group.

It will include lectures on heart murmurs, cyanosis, syncope, chest pain andpalpitations. Likewise, also included are updates on the diagnosis and treatmentof Rheumatic Fever and Rheumatic Heart Disease, Kawasaki Disease, childhoodhypertension and heart failure, and also updates on cardiac interventionalprocedures in children.

The participants will include pediatricians, family medicine physicians andsi eaegeneralpractitioners. =] ees_Enclosed herewith is a copy of the scientific program for your perusal.
