Saint George, Lieutenant-Governor in and over EL.S.3 the State of Western Australia and its De- pendencies in the Commonwealth of Australia. WHEREAS it is enacted by section 4 of the Total- isator Agency Board Betting Act, 1960-1963, that the Governor may, on the recommendation of the Minister and the Board, from time to time, and at any time, by Proclamation declare any portion or portions of the State to be a totalisator agency region for the purposes of that Act, and also that a Proclamation so made may be cancelled or from time to time varied by a subsequent Proclamation; and whereas by Proclamations so made and pub- lished in the Government Gazette the Governor did declare certain portions of the State to be total- isator agency regions; and whereas the Minister and the Board have recommended that those Proclamations be cancelled and that each of the portions of the State described in the schedule to this Proclamation be declared a totalisator agency region for the purposes of the Act: Now, therefore I, the Lieutenant-Governor, acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby-- (a) cancel every Proclamation made under the said section 4 and published prior to the publication hereof; and (b) declare that each of those portions of the State described in the schedule hereto shall be a totalisator agency region for the purposes of the Totalisator Agency Board Betting Act, 1960-1963, with effect from and including the 24th day of July, 1964. the State of Western Australia and its De-pendencies in the Commonwealth of Australia.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section 4 of the Total-isator Agency Board Betting Act, 1960-1963, thatthe Governor may, on the recommendation of theMinister and the Board, from time to time, andat any time, by Proclamation declare any portionor portions of the State to be a totalisator agencyregion for the purposes of that Act, and also thata Proclamation so made may be cancelled or fromtime to time varied by a subsequent Proclamation;and whereas by Proclamations so made and pub-lished in the Government Gazette the Governor diddeclare certain portions of the State to be total-isator agency regions; and whereas the Ministerand the Board have recommended that thoseProclamations be cancelled and that each of theportions of the State described in the schedule tothis Proclamation be declared a totalisator agencyregion for the purposes of the Act: Now, thereforeI, the Lieutenant-Governor, acting with the adviceand consent of the Executive Council, do hereby--

Perth, 10th July, 1964.IT is hereby notified, for general information, that the areas scheduled hereunder are available for selection under Part Vof the Land Act, 1933-1963, and the regulations appertaining thereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Applications must he lodged at the Department of Lands and Surveys, Perth, not later than the date specified, but maybe lodged before such date, if so desired.

All applications lodged on or before such date will be treated as having been received on the closing day, and if thereare more applicants than one for any block, the application to be granted will be determined by the Land Board. Anylands remaining unselected will continue available until applied for or otherwise dealt with.

BUSH FIRES ACT, 1954-1958.

Shire of Moora.

NOTICE is hereby given that all owners and/oroccupiers of land within the Shire of Moora arerequired to prepare firebreaks and remove inflam-mable materials, as set out below, on or before28th October, 1964.

Rural Lands.Breaks of not less than seven feet in width

must be provided inside and around the boundariesof each property, but where this is not practicablebreaks must be prepared as near as possible tosuch boundaries and within the property.

Farm Buildings and Haystacks.A firebreak of at least ten feet wide must be

cleared within one chain of the perimeter of anybuilding or group of buildings or haystacks.

All inflammable material within six feet im-mediately surrounding buildings must be removed.

Firebreaks may be ploughed, scarified or other-wise cleared of all inflammable material andshould be maintained in a cleared condition.

Townsites.On or before 28th October, 1964, all town lots

within the townsites of Moora, Miling and Wath-eroo are required to be cleared of all debris of in-flammable nature and maintained free of suchmaterial.

Fuel Dumps (Fuel Depots).On or before 28th October, 1964, all grass and

similar material is to be cleared from areas wheredrum ramps are located and where drums, full orempty, are stored and such areas maintainedcleared of grass and similar inflammable material.
