2. Attributes Synchronization

2.1 Magento:

Form Magento attributes are synced via attribute sets.

So to sync attributes first sync all attribute from Magento to Odoo.

Note: From Magento to Odoo only configurable and user defined attributes can sync.

2.1.1 Attribute Set Synchronization:

2.1.1.1 Attribute Set Creation:

To create attribute set at Magento go through below path,

“Catalog -> Attributes -> Manage Attribute Sets ”

Then click on “Add New Set”.

Then assign attributes in attribute sets.

2.1.1.2 Attribute Set Synchronization:

To sync all magento attribute sets at odoo, then do the following steps,

At magento admin, go to

“Odoo mapping->Attributes->Sets.”

Then click on “Synchronize All Attribute Sets” will sync all attributes

and it’s option at odoo.

2.1.1.3 Attribute Set Mapping:

2.1.1.3.1 At Odoo:

Go through below path to check mapping at Odoo,

“Magento Odoo Bridge -> Magento Attribute Sets”

2.1.1.3.1 At Magento:

Go through below path to check mapping at Odoo,

“Odoo mapping->Attributes->Sets.”

2.1.2 Configurable Attributes:

To create configurable attribute , attribute must undergo with condition mentioned in

below screenshot.

2.2 Odoo:

To sync attributes from Odoo to Magento go through below path,

“Magento Odoo Bridge -> Bulk Synchronization ”

2.2.1 Attribute Synchronization:

To sync attributes from Odoo to Magento follow below steps,

Click on “Export All Attributes and their values”.

Then window will appear which will show export/update status.

2.2.2 Attribute Mapping:

2.2.2.1 At Magento:

To check attribute mapping at Magento go through below path,

“Odoo mapping -> Attribute -> Attribute”

To check attribute values mapping at Magento go through below path,

“Odoo mapping -> Attribute -> Attribute Label/Options”

2.2.2.2 At Odoo:

To check attribute mapping at Odoo go through below path,

“Magento Odoo Bridge -> Product Attribute”

To check attribute values mapping at Odoo go through below path,

“Magento Odoo Bridge -> Product Attribute Value”

3. Category Synchronization

3.1 Magento:

To check product categories at Magento go through below path,

“Catalog -> Manage Categories”

3.1.1 Export Categories:

To sync categories from Magento to Odoo go through below path,

“Catalog -> Manage Products”

Then click on “Export All Categories”

3.1.2 Update Categories:

To update categories from Magento to Odoo go through below path,

“Odoo Mapping -> Category”

Then please follow below steps to update product category from Magento to Odoo.

First update “Need Sync” yes of the category.

To update it select “Change Status” which is inside “Actions” tab.

Then select “yes” and click on “Submit” button.

Then click on “Update Categories On Odoo”.

3.1.3 Categories Mapping:

To check categories mapping go through below path,

“Odoo Mapping -> Category”

Note: If category is exist both(Odoo & Magento) then to create mapping at both end.

Click on “Manual Category Mapping”.

3.2 Odoo:

To check product categories at Odoo go through below path,

“Sales -> Configuration -> Products -> Product Categories”

To export/update categories at Odoo go through below path,

“Magento Odoo Bridge -> Magento Synchronization”

Then click on “Synchronize Categories”

Then a window will appear.

3.2.1 Export Categories:

To export categories select “Export” then click on “Submit” button.

3.2.2 Update Categories:

To update categories select “Update” then click on “Submit” button.

3.2.3 Categories Mapping:


“Magento Odoo Bridge -> Category Mapping”

Note: To sync individual category there is one more option. Go inside category details

which need to sync.

Then click on “Synchronize To Magento” button which is inside “Action” tab. Select

“Export” to export or “Update” to update category from Odoo to Magento.

4. Product Synchronization

4.1 Magento:

To check product categories at Magento go through below path,


4.1.1 Configurable Product:

To check configurable products at Magento go through below path,


and then add “Configurable Products” filter inside “type” tab.

4.1.1.1 Export/Update Configurable Products:

To export/update configurable products go through below path,

“Odoo Mapping -> Products -> Configurable Products”

To export configurable product from Odoo to Magento “Export Configurable Products”.

To update configurable product from Odoo to Magento “Update Configurable Products”.

4.1.1.2 Configurable Product Mapping:

To check configurable product mapping go through below path,

“Odoo Mapping -> Products -> Configurable Products”

4.1.2 Simple Product:

To check configurable products at Magento go through below path,


and then add “Simple Products” filter inside “type” tab.

4.1.2.1 Export Simple Products:

To sync normal products from Magento to Odoo go through below path,


Then click on “Export All Products”.

4.1.2.2 Update Simple Products:

To update products from Magento to Odoo go through below path,

“Odoo Mapping -> Products -> Products”

Then please follow below steps to update products from Magento to Odoo.

First update “Need Sync” yes of the products.

To update it select “Change Status” which is inside “Actions” tab.

Then select “yes” and click on “Submit” button.

Then click on “Update Normal Products On Odoo”.

Note: If product is exist both(Odoo & Magento) then to create mapping at both end.

Click on “Manual Product Mapping”.

4.1.2.3 Simple Product Mapping:

To check simple product mapping go through below path,

“Odoo Mapping -> Products -> Products”

4.2 Odoo:

To check product products at Odoo go through below path,

“Sales -> Sales -> Products”

To export/update products at Odoo go through below path,

“Magento Odoo Bridge -> Magento Synchronization”

Then click on “Synchronize Products”.

Then a window will appear.

4.2.1 Export Products:

To export products select “Export” then click on “Submit” button.

4.2.2 Update Products:

To update products select “Update” then click on “Submit” button.

Note: To sync individual product there is one more option.Which is explained below ,

Go inside product details which need to sync.

Then click on “Synchronize To Magento” button which is inside “Action” tab.

Select “Export” to export or “Update” to update product from Odoo to Magento.

5. Customers Synchronization

5.1 Magento:

To check customers list at Magento go through below path,

“Customers -> Manage Customers”

5.1.1 Export Customers:

To export customers at Odoo go through below path,

“Customers -> Manage Customers”

Then click on “Export All Customers”.

5.1.2 Update Customers:

To update customers at Odoo go through below path,

“Odoo Mapping -> Customer”

Then click on “Update Customers On Odoo”.

5.1.3 Customer Mapping:

To check customer mapping go through below path,

At Odoo : “Magento Odoo Bridge -> Customer Mapping”

At Magento : “Odoo Mapping -> Customer”

6. Sale Order Synchronization

6.1 Magento: To check sale order at Magento go through below path,

“Sales -> Orders”

6.1.1 Sale Order of Magento:

You Must have to At last below thing before starting Order sync.

Must Map Existing Currency, other used currency will automatically link during

Order sync.

Tax Rates Must be Synced and Mapped.

All Delivery Method Must be Synced At Odoo End.

Payment Method Must be Mapped and Synced At Odoo.

Finally you’re ready for Order Sync, now for every new customer it’ll automatically sync

at Odoo end and Sync Failure you can watch the odoo_connector.log file.

6.1.2 Synchronize Sale Order:

From magento to odoo order can be sync in either in realtime or for existing order user

can it sync manually.

For synchronize all order at once:

For synchronize selected order or sync order's invoice/shipment:

6.1.3 Missing Orders:

This is an additional feature in MOB which will help to filter sale order which are not

synced at Odoo.

To check orders which are not synced at Odoo go through below path,

“Odoo Mapping -> Missing Orders”

Note: To enable auto order synchronization during sale order creation enable magento

auto setting.

Else there is one more option.Which is explained below,

Select sale order which need to sync.

Then select “Synchronize To Odoo” button which is inside “Actions” tab.

Then click on submit button.

6.1.4 Shipment Tracking Number Synchronization:

During shipment ,shipment carrier and tracking number will also sync to odoo.

Sync Tracking Number from Odoo to Magento:

Magento shipment info will generated only after order shipment.

'Sync Tracking No on Magento' button is depend on Magneto shipment info ,

this button visible only if order having Magento shipment info.

'Sync Tracking No on Magento' button helps to add the shipment carrier and

tracking number on Magento.

7. Log Management

Note:- Log File will only be Managed when Magento log will be enabled, if magento log

will be disabled then odoo connector log will not be managed.

Log file path will be same where magento system log exist.

ie. /var/log/odoo_connector.log

To enable log go through below path,

“System -> Configuration -> Developer -> Log Settings”.
