Dear Friends, After thirteen and a half wonderful years, my retirement date is set for
Friday, December 20. And, yes it will happen this time. As executive
director, this will be my last message to our members, participants,
community friends, employees and volunteers.
I am extremely proud of how the Tuscarawas Senior Center has evolved over the
years as a strong and viable community organization serving the population of
those age 50 and older. Our incredible growth can be seen in the number of
people served and the development and expansion of programs and services. We
have always kept our eye on the goal…how can we better serve the senior citizens
of Tuscarawas County.
This has been the job of a lifetime. It has been fun, it has been gratifying and it
has brought professional and personal growth. Most of all, each day has brought
the opportunity to help someone in big or small ways. I am so lucky to have had
the chance to take the organization this far with all of you. Living and working in
this amazing community has touched me in so many positive ways.
I am leaving knowing the agency is in great shape on all fronts and positioned
for continued growth. It has been my honor to provide leadership and work side
by side with the staff and board. Our success and achievements is a result of the
ultimate team effort.
I will miss you terribly but I am in good shape and see tennis balls, horses,
airplanes and more time with friends and family in my future.
In closing, I want to thank you for your support, trust and friendship.
Love,
Pam
