October

festivals are

aproaching.

October Feasts is a cultural

and recreational festival

held in the state of Jalisco

with headquarters in the

capital Guadalajara. They

begin the first Friday of

October until the first

Monday in November, is

held at the Auditorio

Benito Juarez in different

locations of the city and in

different regions of the

state of Jalisco. These

festivals born in 1965 and

considered one of the most

traditional cultural

expressions in the state.

Throughout the month

there are different art

forms such as concerts by

renowned national and

international dance

performances, theater

workshops, art exhibitions,

ballet, workshops and the

traditional arena, where in

addition to the concerts

can be seen fights roosters.

The rides, the Mexican

food, exhibitions and sale

of handicrafts and

industrial Livestock Expo

and sports are other things

that can be found in these

traditional festivals that

aim to encourage the

culture and tourism in

Guadalajara. The event

began with the traditional

parade of floats along Av-
