To celebrate America's veterans this year we would like to invite all active and inactive military persons to attend the Veterans Day Program at Christ the King School, 4002 N. Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock, as a thank you for your service and dedication to our nation. On Monday, November 12, in observance of Veterans Day, guest speaker Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin will join us as we honor America's heroes. We cannot thank our servicemen and women enough and are incredibly grateful for the commitment and sacrifices they have made to defend our country. The celebration will begin in the School gym at 1:30pm with performances by the Christ the King School Band and Choir, Catholic High School Band and the Mount St. Mary Academy Concert Belles. Please join us as we honor the brave men, women, and families who fight for our liberty and freedom.

Pax Christi Little Rock hosts an ongoing Speaker Series for all those interested in topics pertaining to peace and social justice. Our next meeting is at 7:30 on Thursday, October 11. A group of representatives from Shepherd’s Hope Neighborhood Health Center will be speaking on the affordable medical and dental care they provide for the uninsured residents of the South Midtown area of Little Rock. They will also discuss how they support these neighborhoods by learning about their life needs and providing education and coaching to residents. They share in the love of Christ

without bias to faith preference or affiliation, Pax Christi meetings take place in Fitzgerald Hall at St. John’s Catholic Center (2500 N. Tyler St., Little Rock). There is no admission fee, refreshments will be served, and all are welcome.
