ENTRIES:
An Open Check is acceptable for entries only. All stall
fees must be paid in full by the closing date of
September 22, 2021. The word "Entry" will not be
accepted. Each entry blank must be filled in
completely and properly signed before numbers will be
issued.
Show Committee reserves the right to refuse any/all
entries, return any money paid for all or entry fees
without explanation or recourse to the show for
liability of compensation.
PAYMENT:
Stalls are $100.00 each. No entries will be accepted
and stalls cannot be reserved unless accompanied by
payment in full for stalls.
Open checks will be accepted for processing
ENTRIES ONLY. All Accounts MUST be settled by
Saturday, October 9, 2021.
REFUNDS:
Entry fee refunds requested prior to the entry closing
date (September 22nd
) will be made in full less the non-
refundable office fee (per horse) of $15.00. After the
closing date, entry fees will be refunded only with a
veterinarian's certificate. STALL FEES ARE NOT
REFUNDABLE AFTER THE CLOSING DATE.
POST ENTRIES:
Entries postmarked after September 22nd
, except those
for stake and championship classes, will be considered
post-entries and will be charged $25.00 per horse in
addition to the regular entry fee. Post entries will also
be accepted during regular office hours.
SCRATCHES:
Must be made in the show office by 9:00 A.M. for
morning performances and during regular office horses
for evening performances.
HORSE SHOW OFFICE:
Tuesday--Office will be open from 1:00 P.M. until
8:00 P.M.
Wednesday--Office will be open at 9:00 A.M.
Office Hours will be posted for the remainder of the
show.
STABLING:
Stalls will be available from Monday, October 4
through Sunday, October 10 @ $100.00 per stall and
does not include first bedding. STALL WILL NOT
BE RESERVED UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY
PAYMENT OF STALL FEES. An additional
$15.00/day per stall will be charged for horses arriving
prior to Monday, October 4.
PORCHES:
A limited number of front porches are available for
$40.00 per porch.
GROUNDS FEE:
A grounds fee of $35.00 per day/per horse will be
assessed for all horses not paying a stall fee.
CONCURRENT CLASSES:
Class numbers listed with an “A” split will run
CONCURRENTLY (in the ring at the same time but
tied separately) if fewer than 6 entries in BOTH
divisions. If 6 or more entries in EITHER division, the
classes will run CONSECUTIVELY (back to back).
Please be prepared for either scenario.
DAMAGES:
All owners and exhibitors will be held responsible for
any damage incurred by them or their agents to barns
or other properties on the show grounds and will be
charged accordingly.
WARM-UP AND SHOW RING PROCEDURE:
The gate to the show ring will be closed two minutes
after the first horse enters the ring. Any exhibitor not in
the ring by that time will not be admitted. Please
cooperate by being on time. Rider conflicts shall be
worked out with the Paddock Master. Due to
unforeseen problems with any mechanical device, the
PA system and paddock calls over that system must be
considered a courtesy. Therefore, no protest will be
upheld, nor will any section be changed, on the basis
of PA malfunction.
Exhibitor and trainers are cautioned as to their conduct
in and around the show and warm-up rings, especially
in respect to schooling of horses. Items such as
Chains, Tape Measures, Blow Horns, Air Cans,
Split Bamboo Poles, or Whips Longer than 6 Feet
that would alter or disturb the performance of a horse
are prohibited. Stretchers on Pleasure horses will not
be allowed in the warm-up area.
DISCIPLINE:
Exhibitors are notified that any act of discourtesy or
disobedience to the judges or officials on the part of
the owner, manager, rider, driver or attendant shall be
grounds to disqualify the horse. The owner shall forfeit
his entry fee and other fees. In the case of any horse
being disqualified, the winner of the next succeeding
prize in that class shall take the prize that has been
awarded to such disqualified horse.
SHOW COMMITTEE:
Should any questions arise that are not provided for in
the foregoing rules, the same shall be referred to the
show committee whose decision will be final. The
show manager/committee will act as steward when any
rule needs to be reviewed for clarification. In the event
of a protest, the fee is $100.00 payable to the Alabama
Charity Championship Horse Show.
CLASSES:
The show committee reserves the right to limit entries,
change, cancel, limit, or combine classes at its
discretion to compensate for excessive or inadequate
entries, without claim for damages. Ten and under
classes will split at 12, driving classes will split at
16, academy classes will split at 13 (not
championships), and all other classes will split at
18.
SHOW RING:
No person will be allowed in the show ring during the
time of judging except the exhibitor and those having
official or requested duties to perform. No horse will
be allowed in the show ring except at such hours as
posted at the show office or announced on the PA
system by the Celebration Arena Management.
LIABILITY:
The show committee, Celebration Arena, and/or any
sponsor shall not be responsible for any accident that
may occur to any owner, driver, rider, trainer,
attendant, spectator, animal, and/or equipment at the
show.

PROPER ATTIRE:
All riders, drivers, and attendants must be neatly and
appropriately dressed when entering the ring.
PETS:
Pets must remain on a leash at all times and are the
owner’s responsibility.
NEGATIVE COGGINS:
A valid negative Coggins test within one year of show
must accompany each horse and be available for
inspection by Alabama inspectors at the show grounds.
PARKING:
All trucks, vans, trailers, and RVs after unloading must
park in the designated parking areas.
CAMPERS:
Camper hookups are available from the Morgan
County Celebration Arena with payment to the facility
upon arrival at the arena.
RETURNED CHECKS:
All checks returned for insufficient funds will be
charged a $50.00 handling fee. No one will be allowed
to enter if they have a bad check, handling fee or
unpaid account.
CHALLENGE AND MEMORIAL TROPHIES:
The trophies will be presented to the winners of
specific classes but will remain with the Alabama
Charity Championship Horse Show.
BEDDING:
Bedding will be available through the Alabama
Charity Championship Horse Show at $8.00 per
bag.
FEED & HAY:
Feed and hay are not available on the show grounds.
Local vendors will supply product lines and
address/maps will be in the horse show office if
needed.

ADD-A-CLASS ACCHS is offering Add-A-Class opportunities during each session for the purchase price of $250.00. All Add-A-Classes must be chosen as soon as possible so that exhibitors may be notified on the web site (www.alabamacchs.com) that we are offering the classes. Simply request any class or championship class (which has a qualifying class) that you would like to have at the horse show. These are offered on a first come basis and must be paid for in advance.
