End of Summer BBQ was a great success! Thank you to all the familieswho came out to join us this past Fr idayFr iday night! We all had a great time
playing games, eating hotdogs and getting to mingle with all the familiesthat attended! It was especially great to see so many new Franklin
Families come out and participate! A very special Thank You goes outto our "Watch Dogs Dads" who helped man the grill and of course a BIG
thanks to David Osborn and UMPQUA BANK for donating a FREE IceCream Truck for the night! Great fun was had by all!

Starstruck Showcase "Dancing with the Jacksons"
The students at Franklin have been hard at work learning theirdance moves for the 7th Annual Starstruck Showcase to be heldon Wednesday October 12th and Thursday October 13th. This
year's show features the music of Michael Jackson!

Trojan Trackers coming OCTOBER 5! Franklin Trojan Trackers is a fitness program, open to all students in GradesK-8. Participants will have the opportunity to run/walk at their own pace aroundthe track (no running on rainy days or wet track) at 8:00am on Mondays and
Wednesdays and Fridays, October 5th - November 18th, 2016.This is not an early drop off for your kids, all kids are required to be on thetrack running or walking. Registration forms will be in your child's folder this
week or are available in the office. See you at the track!

Thursday, October 27th will be Franklin's Fit-A-Thon (formerly theJog-A-Thon). This FUN school event encourages all students
to walk or run during a 30-minute block of time on the turf field. Thisyear will include some exciting new obstacles and some awesome new
prizes for the top donations and several raffle prizes forall those participating. With this fundraiser, students are helping
support many PTC programs at Franklin.
It's time to register for this year's MandaRun to be held on SundayNovember 20th in Downtown Loomis! Register the whole familyand be part of this fun event that benefits all Loomis elementary
schools including Franklin!
Help bring the "MandaCup" back to Franklin! The school with themost registrants wins the MandaCup for a year!
