Target university model will be supported by economic and financial model designed to:

a) improve quality and level of research activity ;

b) conduct modernization of research and educational processes;

c) increase the role of innovative component in the university development

The KFU will be guided by growth of the non-budgetary revenues and their diversification, increase of research outcomes and cost minimization.

The university’s income will grow from 6,7 bln. rubles up to 16 bln. rubles in 2020. Income from R&D will increase from 0,8 bln. rubles to 2,5 bln. rubles .

Total need of additional financing from the present program is 20,4 bln. rubles. In addition the university is going to conscript more than 40,1 bln. rubles within the same period.
