It does not matter what we’ve done, how much we have, or who we are. What does matter is what is in our hearts. The constant message has been that God hears the cries of the poor. Whatever our circumstances, humility and concern for justice matter most. This is either consoling or challenging, depending on the state of our hearts. “I tell you, the latter went home justified, not the former; for whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted” ---- Luke 18:14 First Reading from Sirach 35:12-14, 16-18 God especially hears the cries of the oppressed. BENEFIT CONCERT TO END ABUSE TO WOMEN AND GIRLS Wednesday, November 23 – Doors open at 6 p.m. Hugh’s Room, 2261 Dundas St. W., Toronto Presented by Catholic Family Services of Toronto Foundation. Enjoy live music with Enrico Galante and Friends, food and a silent auction, all for a good cause. Tickets can be purchased at Hugh’s Room for $40 or $45 at the door. All proceeds go to Catholic Family Services of Toronto’s Women Abuse Programs. TICKETS: 416-531-6604

all deceased parishioners and their families every

year.

A special mention will be made of all parishioners

who died from November 3, 2015-November 3,

2016. Their names will be lit by a member of their

family at the Mass.

death & how many would go to the Mass by
