The RF-based solution is simple and cost effective to deploy, manage and support, as there is no need for a new IPTV Head End or IP switch network. Organizations can use their existing coax infrastructure to deliver channels, while the ArtioGuest portal can be deployed over Wi-Fi, providing a premium experience. Next generation Encoders ship with Intel E3900 series technology inside

New g4401 IP-IP Gateway

Exterity’s next generation 38-series AvediaStream HDMI Encoders, powered by Intel’s innovative Atom® E3900 processor, are now shipping. This high-performance processor enables us to provide a more a more flexible platform, capable of supporting a wider range of codecs versus traditional, single codec ASIC solutions.

The launch of the new g4401 IP-IP Gateway means that two paired gateways can send and receive secure and reliable video streams over the internet using the SRT protocol. This enables organizations to deliver live video, such as training sessions, between remote sites, without the need for costly dedicated delivery networks. Additionally, the new gateway supports the input of Transport Streams delivered by IPTV providers, enabling the redistribution of selected channels over the LAN.

Exterity’s AvediaStream Transcoders, ArtioPortal Desktop and now full range of Encoders all support NDI, NewTek’s AV-over-IP (AVoIP) standard, while still supporting IPTV. This seamless integration creates an end-to-end NDI solution, enabling organizations to easily contribute, distribute and display content, sharing production-quality video between AVoIP live production environments and Exterity IP video solutions. As we continue to develop and improve our end-to-end solutions, we will soon introduce NDI support on our Media Players. This will enable a complete NDI integration, from source to display on any screen. Watch this space for further info!

ArtioSign now offers interactive features, enabling you to update signage screens instantly and with ease using the remote control, to:

• Promptly change layouts to hide/show content as and when you need it, without having to use scheduling tools

• Manually select a VoD asset or channel to be played from a list and ensure that the right message, such as training material or live news, reaches the right audience at the right time

These two features combined create a powerful tool that enables organizations to make the most of their digital signage solution, bringing flexibility and control as screens can be updated spontaneously. This could for instance be used by a bank for staff training outside of opening hours, as it enables layout and training video to be selected quickly and easily.

New ArtioFlow Workflow App ArtioFlow enables the creation of time-saving workflows by simply dragging a series of actions – such as power on, set volume or channel change – to create action sequences. ArtioSign campaigns

and playlists, as well as ArtioGuest portals, can also be integrated into these workflows and published at the push of a button.

Users can also create workflow triggers, so screens will be automatically and instantly updated when specific events occur. For example, during important announcements, all screens could be automatically muted and updated to display evacuation instructions, tailored to each floor and room. Priorities can be assigned to these triggers, ensuring that a lower priority message doesn’t override something that requires immediate attention.

Restrict user access and permissions to specific groups and easily control signage creation, editing and publishing. Users with the same profile can view and edit the same playlists, making the creation process completely seamless.

Additionally, ArtioSign’s new approval process supports established review workflows by enabling managers to accept, reject or amend ArtioSign content before it gets published, ensuring that only approved content is used and communications are always on-brand and accurate.
