MOVIE NIGHT MAHALO! Mahalo Nui Loa to everyone who helped make our first-ever movie night in the cafeteria a successful one! We learned a lot from the experience and hope to make it even better at our next one in March! Thank you, Student Council members & Cub Scouts Pack 68 for all your help! And to the hard working custodians, thank you for the extra work in cleaning our floor and moving all the tables! A HUGE mahalo to Mr. Shadd and Mr. Hanscam for hooking up our video & sound system!! We literally couldn’t have done it without you! A warm and special thanks to the PTSA parents and wonderful staff for helping us out that night. We really appreciate you volunteering your time to help our school beyond your work day!

GARDEN WORK DAY, OCT. NOV. 2
(Sat) 8:30-11:30 AM
"A huge garden Mahalo to all those who showed up at our first garden workday last month. Many hands make light work and much was accomplished. Our school garden is thriving with kalo, lilikoi, ti , long squash and pigeon pea. Recently our garden adventures included our first graders preparing the soil in a few boxes, planted and watered in carrot seeds. Ms. Esteban’s class set a wonderful example of bringing an open mind by trying (and many enjoying) our first garden harvest of fresh homemade poi! The kindergartener's had fun learning our 4 agreements, experiencing our senses out in the garden & learning basic garden safety around garden insects! We are off to a great start and look forward to more garden fun and learning. I encourage parents to come say hello. I'm there on Monday's. Bring your aloha and join in our workdays with your keiki! See you in our awesome garden – Ms. Kat "
FUN RUN Why should you give? Without PTSA funds, there would be NO Wildcat Nights or Movie Nights NO Visual Arts or Creative Movement programs NO Pumpkin Patch or Santa’s Workshop NO May Day or 5th Grade Celebration NO Teacher funds for classroom supplies or excursion help and a whole bunch more…
EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS! When the Fun Run envelope comes home after Fall Break, please do your part to help the school. If not, we may need to say goodbye to some of these events or programs that are supported by the PTSA.
Wailuku Elementary Is a Title I School.
