He collaborates with Armenian musicians, and has also performed with artists from around the globe as well as some of the foremost contemporary jazz musicians. December 7 FREE Thursday Concert Series Schubert Male Chorus with the SC4 Community Choir Noon and 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7 SC4 Fine Arts Theatre

This collaboration concert brings together two community choirs, the Schubert Male Chorus (The Schubes) a male chorus of some 25 members from the Port Huron, Michigan area and the SC4 Community Choir a group of students and adults varying in age from 16 to 80.

The Schubert Male Chorus was founded in 1907. Their repertoire ranges from the classics to the popular, the sacred to the secular, and the old to the new. The focus of the chorus is to share the gift of music, and thus to enhance the quality of life in our community.

The Schubes music director is Terry Beasley, and Jyme Hager is their piano accompanist. The SC4 Community Choir is directed by Carly VanDyke and accompanied by Rachel McCue. Admission: Free
