The PTMS staff put forth countless hours of preparation for the event. I would also like to give special thanks to Mr. Kelly and the PTMS students who did an awesome job with the NAO Robot presentation! Students just completed NWEA MAP testing. Some make-up testing will take place within the next few days. During the month of October, we will be celebrating the Week of Respect, where we will join in wearing blue to show our support against bullying. We will also have Team Day, Global Respect Day, and PRIDE Day to show our respect for others. The Guidance Department is working with students to create posters to display throughout the building. Students will also have the opportunity to write messages of respect in front of the school on the sidewalks and driveway using washable, sidewalk chalk. Please stop by to see the students’ messages. On Thursday, October 6, 2016, we will welcome Trooper Russell and Trooper Funk of the New Jersey State Police to provide grade-level student presentations on Cyber- Bullying. We truly appreciate them taking time out of their busy schedules to educate our students on how hurtful statements and bullying occur through the Internet and social media. It is equally important for our students to stand up against bullying and show PTMS P.R.I.D.E. (Patience, Respect, Integrity, Diligence, Empathy). We look forward to a productive month of October! Thank you for your continued support!
