In an assembly held on 26th October,many students gave their accounts of the delightful and adventurous outing in Rajasthan and urged others“not to miss out on such golden opportunities in the future’. They explored the fairytale cities of the desert,visited the beautiful palaces, wanderedthrough forts with fascinating histories,stayed in traditional towns, shoppedtill they dropped at the markets and

On 8th October , students of grades 8 to 11 of both schools Reqelford andSt. Peter’s Model School were exposed to a career counseling session in the UK Auditorium. Our guest lecturers were Dr Mary and Annette D’Silvaof the US Consulate. The session was very informative and Dr Maryencouraged our students to pose questions and cleared many doubts.

On the home front, our tiny tots visitedthe Nehru Zoological Park on 9th October and though it was a long drivethe reqelbees were ecstatic.They sawmany animals – baboons, wild cats,turtles, white tiger, and the Bengal tiger. They had great fun and asked manyquestions about wild life especially the‘big turtle’.

Our Basket Ball Team played a match withOakridge International School on 28th Octoberto the best of their ability and gained a wealthof techniques from the winning team. Next time Reqelforders you will be in superform!

Our Reqelbees have indeed advanced in the fluency of the English Language byleaps and bounds and the Story Telling Competition held on 30th October was a clear proof of this. Well done bees!Students of grades 3 & 4 visited the Helen Keller Institute on 9th October. Theywere apprised of a whole new world of techniques used to teach the differentlyabled and were witness to ‘hands on’ teaching by Preeti who showed themgestures in sign language.

On the games front, competitions invarious sports were held and the students are excited as we all know ‘nothing engages them better than games’. Junior Soccer Inter-House Competitionwas held on 30th October.

Our Reqelford students of the FrenchLanguage sat for the French StateLevel Exam (Concours Romain Rolland)on 29th October conducted by PrayatnaEducational Society ,Delhi. They were atotal of 32 students from grades 5 to10(CBSE & IGCSE) .

Reqelford celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (Run for Unity) on 31st October, thus, bringing October activities to a close.
