CELEBRATION OF RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS
The call given by CBSE to run for unity received an overwhelming response when the higher secondary students enthusiastically participated in the programme organized in our school. The celebrations started with an assembly wherein the students spoke about the inspiring life of Sarar Vallabhbhai Patel, his significant contribution in the Independence struggle and the most crucial role of uniting the states. Thus the message was conveyed loud and clear about the relevance of unity in diversity especially in the present times where unity alone can lead to the development of the nation. The students also took pledge in both the languages to remain united and to work hand in hand for the progress of the country.
The assembly was followed by a mini marathon by the students and teachers on the school ground.
An awareness march was also taken up in the vicinity of the school with students carrying placards highlighting the need to remain united.

POEM & ESSAY
" As sculpture is to a stone ,education is to human soul ." Education
plays a very crucial; role in building one's character. As a potter
shapes the clay and converts it into a pot similarly education shapes
a man and chisels him into a sophisticated person. Life has no
meaning without education .Education doesn't mean passing an
exam earn well , it is an element which when added to human life fills
his life with delight, fascination and pleasure. A life without education
is like a plant without leaves. Do not follow where the path may lead,
go instead where there is no path and leave a trail behind.
Education improves our demeanour , character and helps build
personality. True education, is one which clarifies our thought and
make it free from all the unwanted clutter to build up our character.
The process of attaining education or success is not as straight and
simple as it seems to be. One has to be exceedingly dedicated to
achieve it. Complete devotion and dedication would help a person to
attain mastery in desired art and gain monopoly over it.
Education deals with the advancement of ideas which has brought
tremendous changes in the moral, social, political in short in all fields.
It is related with the thoughts and values as well as the behaviour of
the educated person which he reflects in his daily routine life.
character is the most presentable part of our personalities. Though it
is characterized by the individual's personal values ,thoughts and
moral conduct but it also depends on the individual's ability to reflect
all these things into his daily life. The example is very obvious. If
someone believes in something but is unable to bring it into practice
the same cannot be called the part of his character, for he is not
exhibiting it in his daily interactions. For human beings are judged by
how they present themselves for the inner self is not seen from outer
shell. So character formation demands not mere including some
basic principles, values or ideas but to bring these certain ideas into
daily practice.

Frequently I'm asked to describe my
favourite place.
The answer comes and there's a smile
on my face.
It's a place where dreams come true
A place destined only for a few
Where to reciprocate good for every
cause
Is the preamble of everyone's ethos
Where everyone believes in service
before self
Where all stand together as Unity is
Strength
Where wisdom is coupled with tolerance
To accentuate the greatest performance
Where the sun of knowledge shines
eternally bright
To bring us out From darkness to light
Where everyone can scale the greatest
height
As they are taught by Gods in disguise
Where a child enters innocent and naive
And steps out as asset of country who
thrives
This is the place of my delight.
With astonishment I'm asked What's the
place and it is true
I reply : It's name is Bhavan's and it is
the greatest school
Then I'm asked
How do you know the Bhavan's you
describe ?
With pride in heart and head raised high
I reply : It's my school and I'm a
Bhavanite.
