Annual Parent/Teacher Interviews will take place for all parents on either Monday 27th, Tuesday 28th or

Wednesday 29th October 2014. Parents will soon receive an individual letter detailing the date and time

for their child’s interview. If the allocated time is not suitable, please contact the school via the Secretary, Mrs

McGaughey, at your earliest convenience and she will try to arrange another time (before Halloween break).

Each parent will be allocated 15 minutes for their interview. It is important that everybody keeps to the

schedule so that other parents are not kept waiting. Your support is greatly appreciated in this regard.

During next school week

Monday 13th October 2014 –

Friday 17th October 2014,

each class in the school will

be running a menu of maths challenges to mark ‘Maths

Week Ireland 2014’.

All involved in the school are thrilled with the outcome of our recent 3 day Inspection.

Until the official ETI report is published in approximately six weeks time, the official gradings and overall outcome may not be communicated by the school. However, suffice to say, the school could not have performed any better.

This is a great accolade in the tradition that is Recarson and we are very proud of this deserved recognition.

Our sincere thanks to all parents for your consistent support which adds greatly to the provision of Recarson PS.

Fun Halloween activities will run in each class

and there will be a special Halloween Break and

Dinner menu on offer.

All pupils received a certificate at the

end of last week for their wonderful

contribution during our recent school

inspection. The three visiting

Inspectors spoke of the welcoming

and exceptionally well-behaved

children who showed confidence in

their communication skills and

sustained engagement in their

learning.

Just a reminder that School Mass is this

Wednesday 8th October 2014 at 6.00pm in

St. Mary’s Church, Killyclogher. In particular we

would ask that P5, P6 and P7 pupils, who are all in

the School Choir, take their seats by 5.50pm. All

family members and friends of Recarson PS

welcome.

Wednesday is also a homework-free night for all

those coming to School Mass!!!

School Photographs will be taken on Monday

3rd November 2014.
