Say YESto Pecans! The members of the UMW YES Link are selling pecans again this fall as a fundraiser for their mission projects. They are offering both fresh new cropextra large halves in 1 pound bags for $11 per bag and chocolate-covered pecan halves in 12 oz. foil gift bags for $9 per bag. Order forms are available in the Welcome Center and the church office or you may place an order by calling Terri Schrot at 400-5800 or contact any YES Link member. Delivery will be in the church kitchen on Sunday, November 13 between services. Payment will be due at delivery. LCUMC has a full time position open for the Adult Spiritual and Connections Director. Some examples of how the money is used include support for the preschool teachers, adopting children each year through Christmas Angels, and supporting Clothes for Kids. All funds from the lunch will go to support these missions. Come join us for great food and fellowship after church. If you have questions about this or any other Link here at Longs Chapel, just call Becky Jarrell at 246-0331.
