Application areasImpregnated single-use wash cap for decontamination of thehair and scalp by physical cleansing.
Instructions for useIf required the octenisan® wash cap can be heated in amicrowave (for a maximum of 20 seconds at 600 Watt).Open the package of the octenisan® wash cap carefully afterheating.If the octenisan® wash cap has been heated check thetemperature before fitting it on the patient.The octenisan® wash cap can be used on the patient withoutfurther additional agents.Nevertheless, the hair should be dry and untreated beforeusing the octenisan® wash cap (no use of hair gel, mousse,hairspray etc.).Place the octenisan® wash cap on the head so that the hair iscompletely covered.Massage the solution of the octenisan® wash cap thoroughlyinto the hair and scalp and leave it for at least 5 minutes sothat it can completely saturate the hair and scalp.The hair should be combed as little as possible during thefull treatment period (i.e. in between octenisan® wash capapplications).After each use of the octenisan® wash cap, the hair can berinsed with water and dried with the aid of a blow dryer ifnecessary.Other shampoos and hair care products can be used afterthoroughly rinsing the hair with water.
Safety informationDo not use the octenisan® wash cap in cases of known orsuspected allergy to one of the ingredients. Do not use incombination with PVP iodine products.Use it only for a limited period of time.When using the octenisan® wash cap be careful not to alloweye contact with the solution. If it does get into the eyes rinsethem thoroughly with water.Do not use in children under the age of 3.
