• Presidents budget level funds Perkins• Additional request for $100 million in

competitive CTE innovation fund• Additional $10 million for “Pay-for-

Success” projects that would prioritize programs for disconnected youth, expand rural access to CTE, and increase technology in the classroom

• Overall focus on ‘wide’ opportunity gaps and achievement gaps across the nation
