The TechnologyRemote Visualizer-This system runs the full graphics engine on the PC. The PC simply request data to be displays on the PC from the controller and writes data to the controller as it is modified on the PC. This allows faster updates, support for large complex screen and support on units without a display.

Project Management

• The project manager allows defining a number of units or locations for connection.

• Each units is defined by a name, connection parameters, and security settings.

Connection Management

• Package can communicate with controller through following media– Serial (CsCAN over Serial)– Ethernet (CsCAN over Ethernet)– CAN

– Each controller can have its own mode of communication, configured through the project management utility.

Security

• Cscape upload, remote terminal and Ethernet security is enforced.

• One administrator account and three user accounts are configurable.

• Each user account can decide no access, read only or read/write for each screen.

License Management

• The software will be “Node Locked”. Each license can be activated only on a single computer.

• A four day trial period is allowed for demos or moving the system to another computer.

Screen Customization

• Screens can be shown with or without their overlay.

• Custom overlays can be imported to match the appearance of the actual product.

Limitations

• The note and video objects will not update remotely.

• Currently trends are remotely re-sampled and may not appear exactly like the on-screen data.

• High speed trends may be limited in speed and when they can update.

• The system screen can not be directly viewed.• Currently Compact flash objects can not be

viewed• Currently alarm objects only show active alarms.
