Cameron M. O’Connor Executive Producer Worldwide Conferences & 3rd Party Events IBM CHQ During a decade long career at IBM, Cameron has held various leadership positions in marketing and corporate communications. Currently, Cameron is an Executive Producer working on leading content development for IBM’s largest client and user conferences such as InterConect and World of Watson and 3rd party events such as SXSW and Gartner Symposium. Previously, Cameron served as Cross-Segment Sr. Marketing Manager leading a team of seasoned communications & market management professionals dedicated to designing, developing and promoting IBM’s strategic Cloud, Mobile and IoT go-to-market activities. Content development, marketing, speech writing, internal & external communications, as well as managing a team developing case studies and references were under Cameron’s creative direction. Cameron’s first four years at IBM were spent in analyst relations and corporate communications functions. His focus was application development, data center operations and IT infrastructure. Cameron also worked across all IBM business units on its corporate Green, IBM Research, Smarter Cities and Smart Buildings initiatives.

Currently, Cameron is an Executive Producer working on leading content development for IBM’s largest client and user conferences such as InterConect and World of Watson and 3rd party events such as SXSW and Gartner Symposium.

Previously, Cameron served as Cross-Segment Sr. Marketing Manager leading a team of seasoned communications & market management professionals dedicated to designing, developing and promoting IBM’s strategic Cloud, Mobile and IoT go-to-market activities. Content development, marketing, speech writing, internal & external communications, as well as managing a team developing case studies and references were under Cameron’s creative direction.

Cameron’s first four years at IBM were spent in analyst relations and corporate communications functions. His focus was application development, data center operations and IT infrastructure. Cameron also worked across all IBM business units on its corporate Green, IBM Research, Smarter Cities and Smart Buildings initiatives.

Prior to joining IBM, Cameron worked as a corporate communications consultant and was previously employed by Forrester Research where he held positions in Research, Consulting, and Project Management. Cameron is a graduate of St. Lawrence University.
