Ochee is generally known as a destination for high-end all-inclusive resorts and afternoon cruise ship duty-free shopping stopovers. But that's not our gig. Just a few blocks down from the gated resorts is a vibrant Jamaican small town not disneyfied, not idealized. Throughout the gardens there are flowering bougainvilleas, pungent all-spice, banana, breadfruit, ackee, coconut, papaya and mango trees.
