Corales Golf Club

Designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2010, Corales is an exclusive and dramatic 18-hole course with six Caribbean Oceanside holes. Designed along the natural cliffs, bays, ocean coves and the inland lakes and coralina quarries, Corales Golf Course rates among the world’s finest golf experiences.

The exhilarating challenge culminates playing the Devil’s Elbow, Corales’s last three holes. The Devil’s Elbow features the striking 18th hole with a dramatic forced carry over the cliff-lined Bay of Corales, an inspired capstone to a memorable and breathtaking golf experience.

The Corales residential community features a private enclave of luxurious homes and golf-view estate lots. The 700 acres of the Corales community are just a part of the extensive acreage of the Puntacana Resort & Club. Membership opportunities await both Corales residents as well as the homeowners throughout the resort. With the resort owning the Punta Cana International Airport and the airport’s private VIP terminal located in Corales, not only is accessing Corales convenient but flight paths are detoured so as not to disturb the peace of this exclusive residential community, nor to break the concentration of the club’s golfers.

The Corales Golf Club welcomes its members and their guests with additional access available to guests of Tortuga Bay and the Puntacana Hotel’s guests through the resort’s golf experience plans, or those who wish to play a la carte. Subject to availability, the Corales Golf Club accepts a limited number of external guest players.

All golf rates are inclusive of taxes and include 18 holes with cart and an expansive practice facility. Also included in the golf rates are yardage books, towels, ice water and tees, all of which are part of the golf cart’s setup. Cold apples on the 10th tee and scented iced towels at the end of your round complete the inclusions and golf experience.

There is a Caribbean-view Grill and 19th Hole Bar at the clubhouse as well as an on-course beverage cart. Caddies are mandatory at the Corales Golf Club.

Punta Espada Golf Club

Opened in November 2006, Punta Espada Golf Club offers a one-of-a-kind golf experience. Located at the exclusive Cap Cana Resort, just 10 minutes from the Punta Cana International Airport, this Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf course provides a unique challenge with eight oceanfront golf holes and spectacular views of the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea from almost every hole. Punta Espada served as host to three consecutive PGA Tour Champions Tour events in 2008, 2009 & 2010. In 2010, there was a record-breaking performance by Fred Couples that included a final round of 62 to beat the field.

Punta Espada is currently regarded as the number one golf course in the Caribbean and Mexico by the renowned international golf publication, Golfweek. It is also highly rated by visitors on TripAdvisor as one of the top attractions in the Punta Cana area.

Punta Espada Golf Club welcomes Cap Cana resort guests and limited external guests subject to availability. All golf rates include local taxes, golf cart, caddie, yardage book, towel, tees, water on-course and unlimited use of the practice facilities. Before or after your round of golf, enjoy food and beverage at the Oceanside full-service restaurant which offers breathtaking views of the 18th hole green.

La Cana Golf Club

La Cana Golf Club is a 27-hole golf course consisting of three nines: Tortuga, Hacienda and Arrecife. The courses feature 14 holes with ocean views that look out to the crystal-blue Caribbean Sea. Designed by PB Dye, this course has become a favourite of golfers from all over the world, and keeping in line with Puntacana Resort & Club’s efforts to be as environmentally friendly as possible, La Cana Golf Club was the first course in the Caribbean to use Paspalum, a grass seed that can be watered using sea water. Golf magazine has compared La Cana to Pebble Beach and declared it the “number one course in the Caribbean”.

La Cana Golf Club is open to all Homeowners of the Puntacana Resort & Club as well as all registered guests of Tortuga Bay, the Puntacana Hotel, home rentals and Four Points by Sheraton. Golfers staying outside the resort also have access to play these marvellous courses.

All golf rates are inclusive of taxes and include 18 holes with cart and an expansive practice facility. Replays or additional nine holes are available. TaylorMade RBZ rental clubs are available for men and women in right and left-handed sets. The 19th Hole is located at Los Platanos Bar within the clubhouse. There is also an on-course beverage cart and a halfway house.
