• Based on developmental stages (Piaget, Gesell)

Criteria for Placement
• July 1st to December 2nd birthdays are given Maturational Assessment Test
• Readiness based on academic, motor, social skills
• Students are placed according to developmental age
• Movement to traditional Kindergarten or
• 1st grade made by informed parental decision

8:45-9:35 Work time: children work in small groups and rotate to different tables. These centers may include reading readiness, writing, math etc. Students will choose a “tub game” from the cubbies when they are done for “Quiet Game Time”

Our Preppie program has developed into a well established and very
