PROGRAM SCHEDULE
July 1 - July 28, 2020
Day 1: July 1 (Wednesday)
06:00 – 19:00 – Arrival.
We meet all participants at the airport/ train station. Transfer to the residence hall.
14:00 - 19:00 – Check in
Check in and relax in your comfortable rooms. Meet your counselors and participants in
your team. All participants receive a SIM card, transportation pass and
souvenir. Depending on the time of arrival, students will have time to walk around
Prague.
19:00 - Dinner
If you arrive late, you will get a meal box.
Day 2: July 2 (Thursday)
6:00 – 7:00 – Wake up
07:00 – 8:00 – Breakfast
8:30 – 12:45 - Language tests + introductory class
Students are assigned to classes according to their level of language. Meet your instructor
during the introductory class. All our instructors are native speakers. All English, Czech or
German classes are innovative and interactive.
13:30 – 14:30 – Lunch (6 Euro).
Czech cuisine is simple and delicious. The potions are huge: enough to satisfy any appetite.
Try knedliki and hermelin. Meat is prepared in various ways, either fried, stewed or
roasted, and it is always served with a side dish such as potatoes, rice or traditional bread
or potato dumplings. Sauces are phenomenal in Czech cuisine.
15:00 – Guided Excursion in Prague’s New Town.
You will walk along the famous Wenceslas Square; see the National Museum and the
statue of St. Wenceslas. It is a beautiful historic place. Walk the cobbled streets (wear
comfortable shoes!) to the famous Staromak (as the locals call Starmest Square). You will
buy a trdelnik - a national sweet bun sold in historical Prague. You will learn why Charles
Bridge is so remarkable and how to make a wish there. Then, the participants will walk to
the Small Town, then via winding streets get to Malostranska Square, to St. Vitus
Cathedral and Prague Castle. You will enjoy a view of the legendary red roofs.
19:00 - Dinner
20:30 – Meet your counselors and talk about the safety rules
22:00 – Bedtime. The counselors check the rooms.
Day 4: July 4 (Saturday)
06.00 - 7.00 – Wake up
07.00 - 8.00 - Breakfast
9.00 - 17.00 - Visit the AquaPalace
Entrance fee is included. Take your swimsuits. Prague AquaPalace is the largest water
park in Europe. Enjoy 10,000 square meters of rides and slides! 250-meter slide! 3 hours
will fly by like three minutes!
19.00 – Dinner
After dinner teams have time to rehearse for the party.
22.00 – Bedtime
Day 5: July 5 (Sunday)
06.00 - 7.00 – Wake up
07.00 - 8.00 - Breakfast
09.00 - 17.00 – Creative Photo Competition
We always have so much fun. Each team has to make a creative and fun group photo while
sightseeing Prague. Photos are posted to the school’s Instagram (@oca_praha) and the
winner is determined by voting. It is a very exciting contest. The winners are announced
during the dance party.
17.00 - Dinner
19.00 - VIP Club Dance Party
Let’s make new friends and dance! Our DJ will play your favorite music during teams’
presentations. More fun, more smiles, more surprises!
23.00 – Bedtime
Day 6: July 6 (Monday)
July 6 is Jan Hus Day, a national holiday in the Czech Republic.

07.00 - 8.00 - Breakfast
09.00 - 11.00 – Get ready for a picnic
12.00 - 17.00 BBQ Picnic. Czech Barbecue Day.
We go to the Divoka Sarka Park and learn to barbeque. What is Czech recipe for
kebab? How to cook it? Your counselors will tell and show you all the secrets.
19.00 – Dinner
After dinner you will meet students of Czech universities to talk and learn more about
student life in the Czech Republic.
23:00 – Bedtime
Day 7: July 07 (Tuesday)
06.00 - 7.00 – Wake up

13.30 - 14.30 - Lunch
15.00–18.00 – Campus Visit (Higher School of Economics, Automated Students
Library). We will visit and tour the university. There will be one more day dedicated to
campus visits. More time - more information!
19.00 - Dinner
20.30 – Career Aptitude Testing
What are your strength and weakness? What are your talents? Find out more about future
career. Our school psychologist carries out testing.
22.00 – Bedtime
Day 8: July 8 (Wednesday)

8.30 - 12.45 – Classes
13.30 - 14.30 - Lunch
15.00 - 18.00 – Campus Visit to Charles University & Czech Technical University
The participants will receive information about admission, study and opportunities at the
best universities in the country! You will see the best universities and talk to the students
who entered the programs after our courses.
19.00 – Dinner
After dinner, you can go for a walk with your counselor. Do you know that Prague is one of
the greenest cities? There are so many picturesque parks, squares and ponds.
22.00 - Bedtime
Day 9: July 9 (Thursday)

8.30 - 12.45 – Classes
13.30 - 14.30 - Lunch
15.00 - 17.00 - The Prague Zoo
The Prague Zoo is one of the largest in the world. Prague Zoo covers an area of over 0.5
square kilometers (about 60 hectares), in which it houses more than 4 thousand animals of
over 650 species, including a large number of those listed as threatened. Prepare to be
amazed!
19.00 - Dinner
After dinner, you go for a walk with your counselor along the Vlatava River. Walk from the
Dancing House to enjoy street musicians, cafes and catamarans.
22.00 – Bedtime
Day 10: July 10 (Friday)
06.00 - 7.00 – Wake up
07.00 - 8.00 - Breakfast
8.30 - 12.45 – Classes
13.30 - 14.30 - Lunch
15.00 - 19.00 – Free Day.
After all activities, it is good to take a day off and relax. You will choose what to do or not
to do with your counselor.
15.00 – Campus Visit to UJEP (optional).
We go to the town of Usti nad Labem for a campus visit to the State University named after
Purkine. The Association is a proud partner of the Purkine University. You will learn more
about university life. Where do students live? How do they spend free time? Usti nad Labem
is 90 km north of Prague.

Day 11: July 11 (Saturday)

9.00 - 17.00 – Trip to Dresden (Germany)
We will visit the capital of Saxony - a fabulous city on the Elbe. Admire art in the Gallery
(additional entrance fee) and see Raphael's “Sistine Madonna”. You will see the most
beautiful dairy shop in the world. Yes, even shopping in Germany is art. You will see so-
called “Procession of Princes” – a 100-meter porcelain panel. Dresden is full of surprises.

Day 12: July 12 (Sunday).

8.30 - 15.00 - Sports Day
Build your team and show off your athletic skills. Participate and win competitions in
football, basketball, volleyball, race and obstacle course. Everybody has fun but only
winners receive prizes.
18.00 - Dinner
19.00 – OCA-CAMP VIP Club Dance Party
The dance party is a farewell party for the participants of two-week program. Yes, time
flies and it is time for them to go home. Let’s dance and have fun! Friendship lasts forever!

15.00 - Presentations about education in the Czech Republic
How to apply and study in a Czech university? What can a Czech university diploma do for
your career? What are average Czech salaries? What are options for Russian-speaking
applicants? How does Czech education system work? We will cover many topics and you
will ask many questions!

Day 14: 14 July (Tuesday)

15.00 - Quest in Vysehrad
Vysehrad is an ancient Gothic fortress in the historical part of Prague. Situated on a rocky
promontory above the Vltava River, it offers stunning views of the city, and the park area
holds hidden architectural treasures. All participants will be divided into teams to go on a
quest and solve some challenging tasks.
19.00 - Dinner
After dinner, you can go shopping. What are traditional Czech souvenirs? Round waffles,
mugs with Prague symbols, European cheeses and sausages, chocolates, koh-i-noor pencils,
a cartoon mole or a puppet doll. Make your choice!

Day 15: July 15 (Wednesday)

8.30 - 12.45 – Classes (for participants of 3 and 4-week programs)

15.00 - 18.00 – Funicular trip to Petřín Hill
All Czechs come here when they are dating. What is magical about Petřín Hill? You will
learn some fascinating stories. There will be an interactive workshop “How to make
friends in different cultures?”

Day 16: July 16 (Thursday)
Participants of the 2-week program depart home.

15.00 - 18.00 - Free time. Prepare for a river cruise and dinner
19.00 – River Cruise and Dinner
Enjoy the beauty of Prague on the boat cruise along the Vltava River. The route runs
through the iconic sights of Prague. Make sure that your phones are 100% charged and
take beautiful photos. A buffet dinner with drinks will certainly enhance your pleasant
experience.

16.00 - 18.00 - Beach Volleyball Day
Young people love summer! Everybody loves beach volleyball. There are so many placed in
in Prague to play volleyball. We will sunbathe on the beach and listen to music! Let’s have
a good time! Cheer for your team!

Do you know funny jokes? Do you want to share them with the friends? A smile is a friend maker.

Day 18: July 18 (Saturday)

8.00 - 19.00 – Trip to Vienna (Austria)
Visit Austria and learn about its culture. Austria is a land-locked country that is steeped in
history, having been dominated by the Habsburg dynasty from the 13th century until 1918.
Austrians love nature, music and chocolate. It is home to some of the most famous
musicians and composers. We will visit all "must-see" places, taste delicious traditional
desserts, and see stunning cathedrals, the famous Sacher Hotel and much more! We will
ride the famous Vienna Ferris wheel!

Day 19: July 19 (Sunday).
06.00 - 7.00 – Wake up
07.00 - 8.00 - Breakfast
8.00 - 18.00 – Trip to Kutná Hora (Czech Republic)
Kutná Hora is a recognized UNESCO treasure and a architectural jewel of the Czech
Republic. You will see picturesque Czech villages and vineyards. You will visit a scary place
– Costnice, where everything made of human bones. You will also see one of the most
beautiful Czech cathedrals - St. Barbara Cathedral.
16:00 - Departure to Nice
The students that signed up for Prague + Nice program depart on a trip to Nice. By bus
they travel through Austria and Italy to France. They visit the small but rich state of
Monaco and Monte Carlo. They visit Cannes – the city of the famous film festival. They
spend sunny days on the Cote d'Azur of Nice and learn to play pitang!

Day 20: July 20 (Monday)
06.00 - 7.00 – Wake up

14.00 - 18.00 - National Museum in Prague
Established in 1818, it is the largest museum in the Czech Republic. As the central state
museum with collecting, scientific, educational and methodological functions it seeks to
enhance the sense of national identity and awareness of being part of the whole
framework of European and world community and culture. The museum was featured in
the movie "Casino Royale."

Day 21: July 21 (Tuesday)

15.00 – 18.00 Beach at the Hostivarge Lake
This beautiful lake is a popular summer destination. It is the largest lake in Prague,
located in the most picturesque area of the city. We will play games; swim and relax on the
beach.
19.00 - Dinner
After dinner, let’s rent electric scooters and ride around Prague.
22.00 – Bedtime
Day 22: July 22 (Wednesday).
Today the participants of the 3-week program depart home.

14.00 - 18.00 – Visit Letna Park.
Letna Park has beautiful views of the numerous bridges over the Vltava. It is the most
photographed place. We will visit the metronome and some other interesting sites.

Day 23: July 23 (Thursday)
06.00 - 7.00 – Wake up

It is a fun quest in Prague. Visit 14 mysterious sites to complete some tasks. Who will come
to the finish line first? Who will be a hero of the day and receive prizes?
15.00 Campus visit to UPOL (optional)
Visit the Palatsky State University, one of the oldest in the Czech Republic. The Association
offers the third preparatory courses here. The university has 23 thousand students and
holds a high international ranking. The town of Olomouc is beautiful.

Day 24: July 24 (Friday)

10.00–16.00 - Rope Park in the Gostivarzh Park
Let’s go to the Gostivarzh Park to enjoy the adventure. There are omegas, rope ladders,
wood logs, rope loops and others. Some of the stages were difficult and some are easy.
Are you a climber, a champion and an athlete? Do not worry – it is safe!

21.00 - Night Quest in Prague
Why do young people love quests? We do no know, but let’s find out! Let’s solve puzzles and
tasks while admiring the lights of evening Prague.
