Giving, receiving, or obtaining information pertaining to an examination before or during an examination period, unless such action is authorized by the instructor giving the examination. This action includes the unauthorized use of an answer key in any

Spring 2009 Student left the room during the final exam in Environmental Studies and stayed out for an extended period of time ‐ at least half an hour. When student returned to the classroom, student was given a new blue book and a new copy of the test, but answers indicated that student changed some of student's prior answers. In addition, student falsely wrote a note to the professor on the test stating that student was out of the room for only seven minutes.
