of about two minutes in diameter surrounded hy a coma having three elongatioiis, the central one heing the longest, about three minutes of arc) and its angle of position 70". On tlie 14th February the condensation iiiore bright. with two rays the angle of position of one about 300" and the other 90". The light not nel)ulous and nearly as a t first but fihrous. The dianiettir of tlie central part 2 minutes of arc. On the 3d of lllarcli, the two first coniparisons were made without illuminating the wires. the same diameter a s before. In the observations of the 6th. 7th and 10th of March, the first comparisons were made without illumination. On the 6th nothing peculiar was obser- ved, but on the 7th the Comet presented a conclensation of nearly the siiiiie diameter and appearance a s before with a thin beam of light about 30" in diameter and 11 minutes of arc in length. It was measured with the micrometer its angle of position being 325'55'. This being nearly the direction of the elongations previously mentioned. On the loth this appearance was not visible.
