15 minutes of observation can be very long, especially when the stories pretty small.

Taking pictures of the stores can be very strange andculturally in appropriate. Especially in kind of urban, lack of trustsetting in the society of competitive business. X

I missed the good use of my senses, besides reading and browsing the web.

The stores can be here and now, historical or futuristic.

I remember in an pacific island of Vanuatu, there was thatch roof bed

room of the old man in the village, which is also the store for

peanuts in the community that you don't use money much. I remember the

the store in the village school, where there were a few can of tin

fishes and some instant noodles. Those design of environment is the

natural blue sky, green grasses and the friendly smiles of the

communities members.

I was in a family owned store of my neighborhood, I mingled different pieces of my memory and they are selling more or less the similar stuff.

village to a department store .. then to taobao.com the online store,

has a purpose. What are the values behind the stores?

Stores and exchange in the market place, can be really cultural.

Asking questions before we observe can be very important. However, shall we observe with a purpose or without a purpose. How do our perception and senses drive our purpose and/or distract us?

It is important to have the association of different areas in the same domains. In this case, those are:environment, personnel,customer and product.

Heavily commercialized chain store impersonalized human relationship.

Unfortunately, the trend of impersonation keep spreading and urbanizing the rural.

What are people looking for to exchange can worry us and we see our shifting of the value away good and moral.

Creativity is put what we sense and perceive together . What are the

patterns and arrange of all these pieces in a schema in a schema. The

sense of certain color scheme and the meaning or feeling is mystical

or magical.

What I have been missing is that I have been too busy moving and didn't spend enough time to be a still observer. As consultant and trainer, I have been busy for talking and giving advise and I'm glad

that I'm focusing more on listening. It's more important to listen not by ears, but eyes and other senses.

Be presence to participate or be away to observe beyond the scenario are both important.

Can shopping sharpen our imagination and improve our creativity?

Certainly, all are more creative than we can imagine. We create intentionally and unintentionally. How can we make our creativity productive is the question? And what are the values, benefits and outcomes of the productivity.

Observation can creativity can certainly go beyond the stores and every part of our daily life in our family, schools, working environment and all different kind of settings.

Curiosity and the desire of knowing more about the outside world drive us to be more creative and explore for the new horizons.
