These handmade articles, polished with olive oil, are a unique work of art that is afflicted with love, patience and proof of the thousand-year connection between man and nature.

In all the tales olive tree is the mythical tree created by the gods, which is at the same time a symbol of longevity, peace, health and wisdom, and represents the divine providence and care for the people, and its branches that are still placed at the door of many homes are signs of reconciliation.

Because of its outstanding strength and endurance, olive trees were already user for making furniture, tools, weapons, utensils and baskets from branches in Homer’s time. Wood is very hard and therefore difficult to handle. It takes a long time to dry, but due to the different colors - from yellow, over brown to black - very appreciated.
