By the end of this lesson students should be able to:

1- revise the previously taught letters and words,

2- read and write three more letters,

3- read and write four more words.

4- read words composed from the letters given.

Student level

Starters 4 ,5 and 6 graders.

Warm up

Introduce yourself. Using cards Ss read the three words (for

Lion, Duck and Apple).

Tr. Introduces 3 more letters using cards and the board.

Introducing 3 letters:

Reading the letters and the words:

Tr. Helps Ss read the new words (for Ox, Camel, Donkey and Sheep).

Tr. Models and Ss repeat. Ss read the letters and the words.

Game:

Tr. Divides Ss into groups. One Student will come out to pull a card and

show it to his/her group to read. The group with the most points win.

Revise the 7 letters and their 7 words and prepare for a quiz next class.
