Questions!

Once we have gathered information from different people we will want to find out the answers to some specific questions. For example “Do most people recycle?”

So what’s the answer?

We need to count how many people recycle 5 out of 8 people recycle

Copy your data into the spreadsheet for analysis.

Make sure it is INSIDE the box. Try and put it to the top left of the box

Finding totals

The spreadsheet should count up the totals for you. All you need to is fill out the tables underneath.

Using graphs

Clear that most people recycle. No need to count!

Why use graphs?

Graphs can be read very quickly Much faster than reading the original data.

We can see patterns in the data much clearer in graphs.

How green is your sample?

Now we need to pull some useful information out of the graphs.

We need to look at the graphs and decide What was the findings from our questionnaire.

And what useful tip can be given.

Using your totals you need to create three different graphs.
