Objective 5.01:CLASSIFY the most recognized styles of furniture
Housing Decisions page 297• Divide a piece of paper into four sections. • Label the sections “Queen Ann Style”,
“Chippendale Style”, “Breuer Style” (Bauhaus), and “Frank Lloyd Wright Style”.
• Under each heading list specific characteristics that would help identify each style of furniture.
• Add a sketch or picture each of the four different furniture styles.
Choosing furniture styles is a matter of taste or personal preference...there is no right or wrong furniture.
Studying various styles of furniture can give you an idea of what you like best.
