On Health• Heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, cause over 40 different illnesses,stroke, cancer, gallstones, gout, sleep apnoea,asthma, high blood pressure, blounts disease, pregnancy
complications, shorter life expectancy, alzheimers
Healthcare• Obesity and obesity related diseases have added about 147 billion dollars to the healthcare bill in 2008. That’s almost doubled since 1998.
• People are considered obese if your weight is 20% above the normal weight. You are considered morbidly obese if you are 50-100% above normal weight.
What can or should be done• To put a balance between healthy food and
unhealthy food• 18% tax on soda, and people will drink less• Diet and physical activity could prevent obesity • Its not the food producers fault it’s the people
who choose to eat the food
