They contracted with ADG to: • Design/build an ADG Mountain Coaster. • Complete the addition in time for a mid-summer opening. SOLUTION ADG designed and built an exhilarating Mountain Coaster ride complete with 2,750ft of turns, dips, zigs, zags, corkscrews and G-force action adventures that could be enjoyed at up to 25MPH. Complete with top- rated safety and design, ADG’s Mountain Coaster carts provide up to two riders with the most secure and comfortable ride featuring higher backrests, shorter brake levers for easier handling and control, a built-in collision avoidance system and seat belt monitoring system. RESULT Despite facing challenges from the severe slope grades, ADG completed the design and build of the Mountain Coaster ride at Ober Gatlinburg in time for an August opening. The successful addition of the Mountain Coaster ride resulted in an immediate increase in revenues from both first time and repeat visitors excited to experience the newest attraction.
