    Introduction

This document briefs you about importing the database dump file and

importing par files for application versions, batch versions, and UDCs.

The database dump is needed to pre-load the setup and transaction data

that the sample scripts will run against. The par files contains versions for

applications/UBEs and UDCs. These are required for the sample scripts

that calls specific application versions and batch versions for which there

are unique processing options pre-set that controls the Applications/UBEs

to function according to what the script is intended to test.

This document also covers the procedure to perform the refresh of the data.

The sample scripts once run will update the transaction data which will

impact validations during the second run of the script. So before a script is

run the second time, the data should be refreshed.

    Importing the Dump File

The database dump is needed to pre-load the setup and transaction data

that the sample scripts run against.

Copy the Dump Files and Scripts

    1. Create a folder called qeauto on the C: drive:

    C:\qeauto

    2. Extract the db dump.zip and copy the three files to C:\qeauto.

    3. Create a folder called Tables in C:\qeauto:

    C:\qeauto\Tables

Change the Local Database Password to a User-defined Password

    1. Access ReconfigureMSDE.exe from the following location:

    JDEInstall Directory:\JDEdwards\E910\system\bin32

    2. Change the password from Encrypted E1 Password to the following

    new password: Oracle123

    Create Tablespaces

    Create the following tablespaces:

    QEAUTODTAT

    QEAUTODTAI

From the SQL prompt, run the following queries:

(Note: You can connect to SQL using the command

    sqlplus sys/Oracle123@E1Local as sysdba)

    Create User

    Create the following user:

    QEAUTODTA

From the SQL prompt, run the following query:

    create tablespace QEAUTODTAT

    logging

datafile 'C:\qeauto\Tables\qeautodtat01.dbf' size 1500M autoextend on next 60M maxsize

    5000M

    extent management local autoallocate

    segment space management auto

    online;

    create tablespace QEAUTODTAI

    logging

datafile 'C:\qeauto\Tables\qeautodtai01.dbf' size 1500M autoextend on next 60M maxsize

    5000M

    extent management local autoallocate

    segment space management auto

    online;

create user QEAUTODTA identified by QEAUTODTA

    default tablespace QEAUTODTAT

    temporary tablespace TEMP

    quota unlimited on QEAUTODTAT

    quota unlimited on QEAUTODTAI;

    Import Par Files

The par files contain versions of applications, UBEs, and UDCs set with

versions and batch versions and control the applications and batch versions

so that they function according to what the script is intended to test.

    1. Extract the par files.zip that contains application versions, batch

versions, and UDCs for each of the scripts to a local folder.

    2. Drop both tablespaces QEAUTODTAT and QEAUTODTAI

    3. Verify that the QEAUTODTAI01.DBF and QEAUTODTAT01.DBF files

are deleted from C:\qeauto\Tables folder. If not, delete both files.

    Create Tablespaces

    Create the following tablespaces:

    QEAUTODTAT

    QEAUTODTAI

From the SQL prompt, run the following queries:
