Configure NMS Parameters on TMG

Log on to the TMG through Telnet or through a serial port.

Add SNMP-ACL

TMG(config)#snmp-server acl 190.1.100.100

Configure get community and set community

TMG(config)#snmp-server community ro public

TMG(config)#snmp-server community rw private

Configure alarm reporting parameters

TMG(config)#traphost190.1.100.100 level all

TMG(config)#traphost 190.1.100.100 language english

Save the NMS parameters

TMG#write

Refresh the Panel Manually

TMG panel refreshes itself automatically and synchronizes all

device data regularly. The default timed polling interval is 10

minutes.

The user can refresh device panel manually to get the latest

information of the board, which refreshing the current status of

the device.
