FOR STARTERS: Is scheduled to make his fourth start of the season and the ninth of his career…leads American League rookies in games started (3), innings pitched (16.2) and strikeouts (13).

THIS AND THAT: Has walked nine batters in 16.2 innings this year after issuing four free passes in 29.1 innings last year…however, has not sur-rendered a home run this year after yielding four last year…has received no runs support in two of his three starts…had two runs of support in his other start.
