Corridor Right of Way Evaluation Findings

– I-290 safety improved with/without additional ROW – Wider shoulders – 2x safety improvement – Lane widths – marginal safety difference – CTA Platforms – end loaded

Design flexibility ADA, safety, operational needs met with 5ft. to 7ft. platform widening

Recommendations – Use up to 10ft. CTA ROW for wider shoulders – Widen CTA Platforms 18’ to 21’ wide Subject to final design
