Two “seasons” that are at the very core of an Our Lady of Victory School education took place. The first, “Sacrament Season,” brought to fruition the spiritual preparation our second graders engaged in for their First Holy Communion and our eighth graders completed for their Confirmation. Pope Francis said about First Holy Communion: "The Eucharist is at the heart of 'Christian initiation', together with Baptism and Confirmation, and it constitutes the source of the Church’s life itself. From this Sacrament of love, in fact, flows every authentic journey of faith, of communion, and of witness." The Pope also said about Confirmation: “May each of us grow in gratitude for the gift received at our Confirmation and open our hearts ever more fully to the creativity of the Spirit who makes all things new.”

Hopefully, all of our OLV School alumni can feel a strong connection to these words as they reminisce about both their Sacrament preparation and the experience of receiving them.

As is tradition, Our Lady of Victory School’s May Crowning took place the Thursday after First Holy Communion. A shared experience all OLV students have is the crowning of the beautiful statues of Our Lady around our campus and in the church.

The second “season” was that of Graduations at OLV School. Our Kindergarteners performed the annual creation play, followed by their graduation ceremony.

The Class of 2019 had a very busy Graduation Season with their Grand March & Dance, Awards Night, and Graduation Mass & Ceremony. Once again, Our Lady of Victory School graduates achieved 100% acceptance to Catholic High Schools - continuing a decades long tradition of success.

All alumni are encouraged to get a glimpse of the 2018-2019 school year at your alma mater by clicking here for the OLV School Year in Pictures slideshow. You will see how, after over 85 years, OLV remains a place where faith and knowledge meet!

“It is a hope that leaves peace and joy inside,

regardless of what happens outside. It is a

hope that has strong roots, which no storm of life can uproot.” ~ Pope

Francis

Alumni News Members of OLV School’s Class of 2015 gathered on the school steps in May to receive a blessing from Father Tom Fusco as they begin the next chapter of their academic careers. May

God bless them and keep them!

OLV School’s Early Childhood & Middle School Open House The school is excited to announce that our Early Childhood Program continues to be very successful and in demand. The school has needed to add teachers and staff to accommodate the families of young children who are seeking an excellent, faith-based education for their children. Our Middle School Program continues its decades-long tradition of successful preparation for our students to continue their faith-based education in high school. If you know of local families who would be interested in learning more about our excellent program, or perhaps you have grandchildren who may eventually join other alumni grandchildren here at OLV School, please encourage them to attend our Early Childhood & Middle School Open House on October 17th at 6PM.
