Q: I know I want a glass block shower, but how do I get started?A: Call or email our knowledgeable staff with your q uestions, or v isit our website www.seattleglassblock.com. It’s loaded with information including completed showers, block patterns, and our showroom location. 3D computer-aided designed serv ice is also av ailable.

Q: H ow large of an area do I need for a doorless shower?A: 5’ x 3’ is adeq uate for a walk-in, doorless glass block shower. A rule of thumb is to locate the entrance 3’ – 4’ from the showerhead.

Q: W hat m aterial do you recom m end for the shower p an and wall p anels?A: O ur Ready-4-T ile™ pan and wall systems for tile showers use waterproof material to create a guaranteedwaterproof tile shower env ironment. T he core consists of 1 00% waterproof extruded P olystyrene throughout thewhole structure, eliminating the potential for mold or mildew growth. T raditional mud pan installations v ary signifi cantly from installation to installation. O ur time-sav ing system prov ides a consistent, waterproof installation with prices comparable to the traditional method.

Q: Is it difficult to install the glass block and R eady -4 -T ile™ shower p ans?A: W ith our modular shower systems, the glass block installation is done in sections, offering a professional fi t andfi nish, and a signifi cant time sav ings ov er building block by block. O ur Ready-4-T ile™ shower pan installs in a fraction of the time of a traditional mud-set pan. F or more information, ask about installation brochures or DVDs.

Q: W hat is the warranty on the R eady -4 -T ile™ m aterials?A: Ready-4-T ile™ P ans are protected by a 5 year limited “no-nonsense” product warranty from the manufacturer, if properly installed following the manufacturers recommendations.

Q: C an I use any silicone or grout with this sy stem ?A: N o. E v ery panel we make, supply, or install is a system of products designed, tested, and prov en to worktogether. U sing off the shelf materials is not recommended and may v oid any warranty.

Q: I am not interested in doing the insallation m y self. D o you offer installation serv ices?A: W e offer local installation of glass block windows, panels, and shower walls. O ur experienced installation crewscan install most panels in a day. Y ou can feel confi dent knowing your panel has been installed by a company with ov er 2 5 years of experience in the glass block industry. A list of independent local contractors whohav e been certifi ed in installing the Ready-4-T ile™ materials can be supplied upon req uest.
