INTERNATIONAL PHOTO CONTEST Theme: The theme of the photo competition is international education. Photos entries should depict a scene that demonstrates the value of experiencing different cultures abroad. All current Delaware Tech students and faculty are invited to submit photographs documenting a significant personal experience during a time of studying, living or working in another country. This includes study abroad, travel abroad, living experiences and the experiences of international students studying at the College. (Please note that photos of international students at Delaware Tech should depict an experience or impression of the U.S., not the home country.) Requirements: • You must be a current Delaware Tech student or employee. • Photographers may submit up to two (2) high-resolution photo images of works in any photographic media. Originals must be 8” x 10” or larger and must be mounted or matted in black or white. • Photo(s) must document a significant personal experience during a time studying, traveling or working abroad. Photo must have an international theme or depict an international experience/ impression. Requirements Theme

Photo Contest - Entry Form

How to enterThe deadline for submissions is 4 p.m. on Oct. 26, 2012. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted. A complete submission includes:• A completed entry form. • Up to two (2) print images in high-resolution, minimum 8”x10” in landscape or portrait format, and mounted or matted.• Submissions must be accompanied by a completed entry form. Submissions may be entered in person or by mail to the Campus International Education Coordinator:

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges. The jurors will be comprised of faculty, staff, and students. Notice regarding winning photos will be sent via e-mail no later than Nov. 9, 2012.

The exhibition will be displayed on campus during International Education Week, Nov. 12-16, 2012. An awards ceremony and presentation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. You must be present to speak about your photo and accept your award. Photos submitted by students will be awarded the following prizes:

1st Place: $100 gift card 2nd Place: $50 gift card3rd Place: $25 gift card
