Welcome to the Great Australian Red Cross Bake Off. HOW TO TAKE PART • Register at bigcakebake.org.au where you will receive your own fundraising page • Invite your family and friends to your virtual bake off. Our official Big Cake Bake day is Friday 30th October, but your bake off can take place anyme during the month. • Use Zoom, Skype, Microsoﬅ Teams or whichever website takes your fancy, set your virtual bake off date and invite your guests by sharing the link. If using Zoom, download our Big Cake Bake background. • Ask your guests to donate to your Big Cake Bake Off through your online fundraising page. You could suggest a set entry fee amount or suggest the amount they would have spent at your physical event. Don’t be afraid to ask for donaons, you‘ll be surprised at how generous people can be when it’s for a good cause! • Play around with your theme, perhaps you’d like to make everything red for Red Cross, or maybe your event will be a healthy bake off. Use your imaginaon and have fun! • Start pre-heang the oven and greasing the cake ns, pick what you’d like to make and give out hints to get your family and friends excited. …AND DON’T FORGET!
