On Tuesday, November 2nd, we will once again open our ELECTION DAY CAFÉ for the many voters in Avondale who come to exercise their right to vote in this great state. This has always been a way to show our hospitality to our neighbors. We have sign up sheets by the Welcome Center for people who can bring in goodies and also a schedule to help with the café. Our speaker will be Marilyn Tomlinson a long-time Ambassador to Northeast Florida for Road Scholar (Elderhostel). They provide educational trips around the world for older adults. Marilyn will surely have some great stories to tell about her travels on 20 Road Scholar trips. We look forward to seeing you there. The class voted to turn all profit from the sale this year to the church budget. Any member of the Faithful Friends will accept your order now.
