    N OTIC E O F APPLICATIONTO AM END THE OFFICIAL PLANThe Municipal Council for the City of London is considering an amendment to the Citys OfficialPlan for the lands shown on the map as attached. The requested change is described belowWe are advising you of this application to invite your comments.APPLICANT: City of LondonLOCATION Lands south of Exeter Road, north of Dingman Drive east of White Oak

    Road and west of the Marr Drain see attached mapPURPOSE AND The purpose and effect of the requested Official Plan amendment is toEFFECT: evaluate the existing industrial lands within the study area to determine if it is

    appropriate for them to be continued for industrial purposes or whether theyshould be redesignated to non-industrial uses residential, commercial,institutional and open space .

    POSSIBLE Change the Official Plan land use designation from Light Industrial andAMENDMENT: General Industrial to Urban Reserve-Community Growth to permit residential,commercial, institutional and open space uses. Council may also consider aTransitional Industrial designation to permit existing industrial uses tocontinue and provide opportunities for new light industrial uses that arelocated in enclosed buildings, require limited outdoor storage and are unlikelyto cause noise, dust, odour or vibration impacts.
