Our projects with SMEs

New Nordic Food

Sea-buckthorn from Rubjerg Knude(havtorn)

– 50 ha sea-buckthorn on site since Ice Age Investigation of commercial cultivation and mechanical harvest

Water cress ourdoors (brøndkarse på friland)

– Analysis of growing systems in Denmark, where the cooler climate and price of water are the limiting factor

Hop asparagus (humle asparges)

– Are the delicious shoots from the hop plant

Selection of suitable cultivars

New Baby leaf species (nye babyleaf after)

– 156 Nordic species were narrowed down to 21 for their potential as baby leaf species. This spring, these are being tested outdoor
