Salon International de l’AgricultureSalon International de l’AgricultureSalon International de l’AgricultureSalon International de l’Agriculture Auctioneer Ian Atkinson visited Salon International de l'Agriculture an agricultural show in Paris running from 27th February till 6th March with a foot fall of over 700,000 people. Ian visited the show as a guest of the AHDB to see how the levy money paid is used to

promote Prime sheep meat abroad with France being one of the most important export markets, with one in five lambs born in Britain ending up on a French plate. The strategy in France is to promote the Agneau St George (St George lamb) brand of farm assured British lamb. The show had more than 3,850 animals on exhibit consisting of over 330 breeds including cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, donkeys and horses.
