Nutella Chocolate Chip Muffin
Ingredients:
• 140g butter
• 120g caster sugar
• 3 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 30 ml buttermilk
• 200g plain flour sifted with 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 120g mini chocolate chips
• Nutella
Steps:
1. Cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy
2. Beat in one egg at a time with salt and vanilla essence at medium speed
3. Add in the buttermilk
4. Then add in flour and baking powder. Mix for 1 minute or so until well-
combined
5. Finally add in the chocolate chips
6. Fill the cupcake cases ½ with batter and spoon in ½ teaspoon of nutella
(as the nutella centre).
7. Cover the top with batter until 2/3 full and add another teaspoon of nutella, this time round, use a toothpick to swirl it (create the swirl effect
on the muffin).
8. Pre-heat oven at 170 deg c for 20-25mins.
**Buttermilk no need to buy one, can prepare yourself. For every 1 cup of milk,
add 1 tsp white vinegar. Stir and leave it for 5 minutes. It will curdle. It’s okay
and use the amount required in the recipe.

**The swirl on the nutella is quite hard to make unless your nutella is really soft.
So don’t put your nutella in the fridge or what. If not it’ll turn out like mine like
one mass of… I don’t know what. LOL.
