Levin, Esq., founding partner of the Chicago law firm Levin & Perconti, is a nationally respected trial lawyer who has practiced plaintiffs’ personal injury law for over 25 years. He has dedicated his career to representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect, medical negligence, defective products, construction accidents, car and airplane collisions, and premises liability, achieving numerous landmark verdicts and settlements. His comments on nursing home litigation are frequently quoted in national publications such as the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. He is the former Chair of the Nursing Home Litigation group of the American Association for Justice and is now actively involved with the National Citizens’ Coalition for Nursing Home Reform and Illinois Nursing Home Ombudsmen. Carol Michel, Esq. is a partner at Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial in Atlanta, Georgia. She has responsibility for all aspects of civil litigation in the State and Federal Courts, and is also responsible for advising healthcare clients on matters involving credentialing, medical staff issues and other related areas. Ms. Michel has represented healthcare providers before licensing boards.
