PSNA’s Star Leadership Institute is designed to assist nurses achieve their leadership goals. In Spring 2016, Institute participants will engage in interactive leadership competency sessions. Over the course of six months, they will reinforce these new skills through quality change projects within their organization. Mentors will provide guidance, support and direction during the individual project work. Participants return in November to share their projects and explain how they have applied evidence-based practice within their organizations.

• Nurses at all levels are rising to leadership positions.• These leaders are eager to embrace change and improve healthcare systems. • To achieve this goal, nurses need experiential learning.

Attending the PSNA Star Leadership Institute facilitates nurses to establish a strong foundation and confidence in leading the change needed in improving the delivery of health care to our patients. The Institute presents a stimulating curriculum to promote problem solving and strategic thinking.
